EnquireSituated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River, bordering Chobe National Park, Chobe Safari Lodge is perfectly located in an area of Botswana packed with diverse game alongside the borders of Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Because the camp is situated beside a National Park, the area can be busy with game vehicle traffic, but the density of wildlife in this area more than compensates.
Game drives and private boat cruises provide guests with a thrilling opportunity to see a plethora of game such as elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, red lechwe, puku, impala, sable antelope, crocodile, lion, leopard, and many, many more. Guests can also embark on excursions to the nearby Victoria Falls and Okavango Delta, walk to a Namibian village, and even fly scenic routes mapped out in the sky. Fishing, Reptile Park visits, and spectacular bird-spotting opportunities are some of the many other activities the Chobe Safari Lodge offers.
A cocktail bar and entertainment lounge, each with their own viewing deck, provide guests with a fantastic view of the pans from the comfort of the main lodge. The pool deck, which now has a new enlarged swimming pool, the health and beauty salon, and the squash court are great places for guests to relax in the luxury setting of Chobe Safari Lodge. Another new feature to the lodge’s shared facilities is a restaurant that serves à la carte and buffet-style meals with indigenous Africa flavours. Guests can also dine under the stars on-board a boat as part of the dinner cruises. The Lodge’s Sedudu Bar overlooks the river and floodplains and is famous for being the best sundowner spot in the region.
Accommodation consists of 46 Luxury Safari Rooms, 22 Luxury River Rooms, and 8 Rondavels. All rooms have en-suite facilities and offer stunning views of the Chobe River. Family rooms with a separate children’s room with bunk beds are available. Privacy is harder to find in this popular site.
It was FANTASTIC! Beautifully organised, everything worked like clockwork. We agreed that we had the best support team ever (and we have experience) - all delightful, very professional and nothing was too much bother.
It clearly couldn't have been a better route, such a wonderful mix of landscapes. And plenty of acclimatisation time. Nonetheless, I was glad of my summit oxygen.
Kit excellent. Double good mattresses made for most comfortable trek camping ever. Tents v good. Mess tent pretty windproof, which was vital for enjoyment. Best camp loo ever!
My favourite day was Shira Cathedral. Amazing.

Hi Lisa,
The safari trip was excellent! The stay, the food and the people were all very nice. We were happy to have Ryan and Stanley as our game drive guides they brought us up close to the animals and Ryan gave very good information throughout.
Would definitely recommend to friends who are interested in safaris :)
Also, thanks much for your help, particularly keeping the room for my Brother and his wife they’ve enjoyed the safari very much too!
Best regards,

We had a fantastic time and all the arrangements worked perfectly.
We were very impressed with the quality and service levels of all 4 locations visited and it was truly a holiday of a lifetime.
Thank you to you and to Lisa for giving us this experience.
Particular highlights for us – really the whole experience, but of particular impact:
Breathtaking scenery at Cathedral Peak Hotel
Rhino Ridge game drives incredible, thanks to guide (we had their head guide, Hala, who’s knowledge, enthusiasm, kindness, interaction, ability to spot wildlife was out of this world)
Luxury of Rhino Ridge (shower, food, views, service)
Immersion in nature, torch lit meal on last night and beach trip at Kosi Forest Lodge
Level of service, quality of food throughout
