Overview

Lantana Galu Beach is a large, contemporary development of apartments and villas on the relatively peaceful and unspoiled Galu Beach. Lantana is a good option if you want good facilities and a relaxed non hotel environment. Facilities are excellent with two swimming pools, one beach-side and one in the garden (both include a paddling pool for children) and a large air-conditioned fitness centre.

Lantana is likely to appeal to those who want to self cater, there is a shop in the resort stocked with a limited range of grocery items and toiletries and the larger shops of Diani Beach are only 10 minutes away by taxi. On site there is a coffee bar (by the Garden swimming pool) and Le Cafe, a popular beachside restaurant and bar (open for breakfast, lunch and dinner). A variety of watersports can be booked separately through the reception (diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, kite surfing, etc.)

There are 47 fully furnished and serviced holiday homes made up of villas, apartments, bungalows and penthouses available for holiday lets on a self-catering basis. For larger families, there are three bedroom villas, with three bedrooms on the first floor include a master, queen and twin bedroom all en suite with their own balconies, large windows, French doors and a roof terrace. For smaller families, there are two and three bedroom cottages and apartments. Cottages are ground floor apartments opening onto the gardens whilst the apartments have balconies overlooking the gardens or Ocean. Styling is modern, contemporary with clean open plan living spaces with good natural light. Rooms are well equipped with air conditioning in all bedrooms, ceiling fans in all rooms, DSTV, DVD player, wireless internet connections and an intercom system.

  • We had the most incredible time thank you. We loved Karen Blixen camp and felt part of a family there, it was incredibly special. And Breezes was very relaxing.
We can't fault all the transfers and the moment we were greeted on the tarmac at Nairobi airport we knew we were going to be well cared for.

Thank you so much to you and all the Tourdust team for making it such a happy and memorable trip.

  • We had an amazing trip. Everything was well thought out and so much fun. What a great way to truly see the country and learn the culture.

Joseph was the perfect guide. Very kind, professional, knowledgeable and patient. The kids loved Joseph and keep asking when will they meet him again. He found the Big 5 for us which was unforgettable! Please pass along our appreciation to Joseph.

Maji Moto was also another incredible experience. They had great customer service and we loved experiencing their culture.

Sunbird was absolutely beautiful and I wish we had more time there. We loved the view of the lake!

One suggestion to make the trip even better for other guests in the future would be to have a cooler with drinks and snacks in the Jeep at all times because a ton of driving is involved and it would be helpful to have a cold drink and snacks during the long trip.

Thanks again for organizing this experience of a lifetime for us!

  • I had just the most incredible time on the climb.

The team were incredible and just so accommodating. I really only have good things to say as it was such a great experience.

George was as good as a guide as it gets, very articulate and made sure I was comfortable the whole way up with frequent briefings.
