One of the highlights of our collection of adventure holidays in America are our US mountain biking trips which range from 3 to 5 days offering stunning back country descents for experienced riders. Alternatively there is little in this world as iconic as riding horseback amidst the canyons and alpine wilderness of Utah's high plateaus or riding across pebble strewn rivers surrounded by the vast open valleys of Yellowstone.
For those serious about their adventure, Alaska offers an unmatched wilderness consisting of 100,000 glaciers, and more than a million lakes waiting to be explored. Hiking, kayaking and rafting are all on the cards and if you are looking for a wildlife adventure, there are abundant bears, wolves, elk and caribou. Family adventures are big in the US too and many seemingly daunting multi-day trips have scheduled departures set aside for families - the adventure is toned down to the right level and of course the kids benefit from great friendships made on expedition.

We had a blast. What a great white water trip! Amazing pristine scenery, great food and lots of big exciting rapids. You and the Momentum crew were awesome. It was the best food of any river trip I have been on, especially your special french toast I LOVED IT! What really stood out above all was your commitment to safety. The river was BIG and all the measures you had in place to make us feel safe made the trip that much more fun. Keep up the good work (play).

reviewing California Rafting - The Salmon River
I have to start my review with the gorgonzola butter I watched our guides prepare by hand. We ate it with our steak, but I wasn't about to end there. It was good on the fish from our mixed grill dinner, it went excellent (oddly enough) with our chocolate fondue, and my favorite was on the apple slices. But then again, every meal with Momentum was a grand experience and delicious. Maybe it was the crisp Spring air, all that big sky, the towering cliffs we rafted through that made me so hungry! And after the gorgonzola butter, it would have to be the hot springs that made me happiest. No, wait! It was the guides, who were funny, kind, and for macho river folk, ridiculously nurturing and always there to take care of any extra needs I had and to answer my millions of natural history questions (Thanks, Glenn and Anthony!). But actually, the canyon itself was the highlight, and the hieroglyphs, and the hike. Is there a word limit on this review? There's just so many wonderful things to say about my Momentum Rafting trip!

The Rogue River is for everyone!!! This is one of the best multi-day river trips in the country and I have done them all! A little something for everyone with its exciting rapids, beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife, and historic past. I took my mother on her 50th birthday. She had never been rafting before and she absolutely loved it!
Momentum does an amazing job! I have done many trips with them and this is by far one of the best!!! You won't be sorry!

Silver Salmon Creek is magical! Worth the journey in every respect. My family has been going to this place for decades (way before there was a commercial lodge) - it's wild Alaska at its best.
