Overview

Constance Lemuria is a deluxe resort on the stunning northwest coast of Praslin, the second largest island in the Seychelles. This substantial upmarket complex is situated beside the pristine white sands of Anse Keralan, lapped by the calm turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Boasting 105 contemporary suites and villas, several bars and restaurants, a lovely pool area, spa, gym, boutiques, golf course, and onsite helipad, the resort will appeal to travellers seeking excellent service in an exclusive, highly comfortable oasis, at the top end of the budget spectrum.

The resort’s elegant communal areas include a relaxing lounge and library furnished with comfy leather sofas, a flat screen TV and DVD player, and computer station. There are four restaurants: Legend, overlooking the bay, serves buffet breakfasts and dinners, plus a la carte lunches. Diva restaurant and bar, adjacent to the hotel golf club, offers lunch and dinner with a Mediterranean inspired menu. The Nest focuses on Creole cuisine, whilst Takama, a relaxed bar and eatery located on the beach, serves light meals and is the perfect spot for a sundowner. There is an inviting swimming pool with loungers, and an adjacent pool bar. Facilities include a fully equipped gym, and an extensive spa complete with sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi. There’s also an upmarket boutique, jewellers and golf equipment shop on site. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.

Water-based activities include swimming, snorkelling, diving (there is a PADI diving school), kayaking, windsurfing, and body boarding. Constance Lemuria boasts the only 18-hole golf course in the Seychelles and there are also two floodlit tennis courts within the complex.

The accommodation comprises 96 spacious suites and 9 villas, nestled within tropical gardens and facing the ocean. All suites have king size or twin beds, a comfortable lounge area, and sleek bathrooms featuring twin basins, WC, bathtub, and separate shower. All units come with a minibar, hot drink facilities, satellite TV, air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Outside is a generous private veranda and seating. The extremely spacious villas come fully serviced and comprise two ensuite bedrooms and a luxurious outdoor shower and bath. There is a spacious lounge and dining area, and kitchenette. Outside is an alfresco dining area, a private plunge pool and a private massage pavilion. Finally, for those requiring complete privacy and for whom budget is not an issue, the resort offers a fully staffed, three-bedroom Presidential villa boasting extensive living space, no fewer than three plunge pools, and its own private beach.

Children of all ages are warmly welcome at Constance Lemuria. The resorts kids’ club has its own swimming pool and playground and offers a raft of day and evening activities for 4 to 11 year olds, including exploring, cooking, and arts and crafts. Child menus are provided, baby car seats and pushchairs are available upon request, and a babysitting service can be arranged. Parents are reminded to ensure that their children remain under adult supervision at all times.

  • Trip was great and all the arrangements were excellent so thank you for all the help!

Drivers and transfers were all good - on time and very good service on each trip.

Accommodation was lovely - Douar Samra was amazing (weather could have been better but lovely regardless). Riad in Marrakesh was also great!

All in all a great trip and we loved the variety of the mountains, Marrakesh and the coast.

    Thanks you once again!

  • I was also just about to email you to thank you and the team for arranging yet again, another wonderful experience.

Mount Kenya was spectacular and wild - I think I prefer it to Kili in many ways. The entire support team was professional, friendly and all round fantastic in making sure that we were safe, well fed and well looked after. In particular, we would commend Peter the guide as well as Paul one of the porters who doubled-up as his deputy on summit day. Our route was often shrouded in mist and rain that rapidly gathered in the valleys and moorlands, and we were very impressed at how Peter managed to navigate us safely through all of that notwithstanding. In addition, we loved learning about the history of Mount Kenya from him in the evenings. And ofcourse, I was blown away by the lovely birthday surprise at the end complete with balloons and a delicious cake that had journeyed with us from day 1. One thing we might recommend because of the sudden change in weather (it would sometimes get extremely cold and wet) is for the equipment list to be a little bit more detailed in terms of its recommendations e.g. layers to be moisture-wicking, walking boots be waterproof, doubling up on socks to avoid blisters etc.

El Karama is a beautiful conservancy and the lodge a true labour of love. Great hospitality in a relaxed environment. Delicious, fresh food. We enjoyed the drives, even if we didn't see much wildlife as the heavens opened on us for the last two outings. However, since it was very much geared towards families, I am not sure if I would stay again without kids. That said, I think it was perfect for a 3d/2n stay post mountain, and a much better choice than flying to the masai mara given the limited time we had.

Our transits were smooth. Samuel the driver was always on time, drove safely and kept the vehicle clean.

So it was a brilliant experience and one which I certainly will cherish for some time to come. It was great to work with you for a third time, and I certainly hope it won't be the last

  • Thank you, we had an absolute wonderful time, and everything was well-planned and as described. Carla was crying on the day of our departure from Ants Nest, she didn’t want to go home and for it all to end, and when I asked how much longer she would want to stay, she responded “four weeks”
