Overview

Offering bed & breakfast accommodation in St Lucia village along the northern KwaZulu Natal coastline, is Lidiko Lodge. Set above the great St Lucia Lake on a coastal dune, Lidiko is surrounded by the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park, a World Heritage Site.

The 16 rooms are garden rooms, en-suite, fully air-conditioned and spacious with a private patio and entrance. Room amenities include single or king size beds, television, hairdryer, bar fridge, crisp linen, luxury towels and tea and coffee facilities. Most of the rooms surround the beautiful garden courtyard and swimming pool. The reception area, lounge, dining room and art gallery, are all in the original thatched colonial building. This home is set in an elevated position with views of the estuary and is decorated in a contemporary Afro- Colonial style. Breakfasts are served on the deck.

Lidiko is the ideal place to enjoy a beach and bush holiday. With stretches of pristine beach, the warm Indian Ocean, summer just about all year round, guests can enjoy long walks, Big 5 safaris, swimming and snorkeling, whale watching, turtle nesting, marine excursions and Zulu cultural visits.

  • Hi Lisa, We had a fabulous time thank you. The accommodation and other ideation were all terrific - that’s so much for your help. The apartment in Cape Town was particularly good - we would never have found that: Boschendal was great as well and game lodge was superb. Thanks again, Alistair

  • Can't praise tour dust enough, they helped us to create a holiday of a lifetime that has given us family memories we will treasure forever. From start to finish the whole experience was exactly what we wanted and more. Due to covid we waited 2 and a half years for this trip but worth the wait.
