EnquireLiberty Central Saigon Centre is a modern establishment with an art deco feel belonging to the Odyssea Hotels portfolio of properties. What the hotel may lack in character it makes up for in terms of convenience and some good on site facilities. Located roughly five kilometres from the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, there's plenty to see, do and experience within walking distance, not to mention plenty of good transport links.
There are 140 air conditioned rooms in total, all of which are contemporary in style and designed to be a comfortable home away from home for visiting guests. They’re handsomely furnished and tastefully decorated, with a bright and light look to them. Amenities common to all different room types include an LCD TV with satellite channels, complimentary toiletries, two daily bottles of water and tea and coffee making facilities.
The Central Restaurant is the hotel’s main eatery and has a laidback, relaxed atmosphere. Located on the first floor, it’s open for three meals a day and serves an array of Vietnamese, Western and Asian dishes. Throughout the day guests can grab an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink, or a light snack, at The Bistro. The hotel’s other dining venue is the Libra Dining Room, which seats just 20 people and is reserved for meetings and special occasions.
The comprehensive facilities include a state-of-the-art health centre up on the 12th floor which overlooks the rooftop pool. There's also a spa where a range of treatments such as manicures, pedicures and facials are offered, along with separate male and female steam rooms and saunas. Those who book the Executive Club, Signature or Liberty Central Suite rooms will be given access to the Executive Lounge which is located on the hotel’s 11th floor and offers exclusive, personalised services and amenities.
Exploring the bustling Ho Chi Minh City with its fascinating combination of French colonial architecture, sombre Soviet-style housing and beautiful pagodas is a must. The hugely popular Ben Thann Market is just a five minute walk away, while less than 10 minutes away is the grand and ornate Independence Palace, which has a rich history and now functions as a public museum.
Children are welcome, although parents should note that there is no babysitting service or designated child activity programme. However, youngsters will no doubt enjoy making use of the pool and exploring the lively city with their families. Parents are reminded that children must remain under adult supervision at all times.
We had such a good holiday. You did a fantastic job!
The house in Marrakesh was ridiculous. We effectively had it to ourselves. The accommodation was borderline palatial.
I actually think that the time we had in Marrakesh was sufficient. We could potentially have done a day by a pool but I think we’d done enough souk-ing by the end of Day Two.
The hotel in the mountains was a shade more rustic than I was expecting, but all great fun. Stunning views. The guide / mule / cook team were excellent and our guide (Hassan) tailored the treks to our capabilities well. He was superb, and really made an effort with the kids. The second and third day of trekking were particularly good. Such an adventure for the kids.
All the logistics worked seamlessly. Every aspect went like clockwork. Top marks. The advice on tipping was also much appreciated (I hate thinking that I’m getting mugged off or am potentially not giving enough…).
From my seven-year-old son:
I thought it was GREAT. The food was amazing and the culture was very interesting. My favourite bit was scrambling up rocks in the Atlas Mountains.
In retrospect, I’d probably do the trip in reverse. Flopping on the roof terrace after the rigours of the mountains would have been even more satisfying.

We just wanted to thank you for an absolutely amazing holiday. Everything went exactly to plan and we were blown away with the quality of the guides, transport and accommodation. The itinerary was perfect for our family with a great mix of guided and free days and the different destinations complemented each other well. We will definitely be using Tourdust again for our next trip! Particular highlights were the Ha Long Bay cruise, Hanoi, and the morning cycle tour in Siam Reap
