Overview

Set just back from the beach (around a 10 minute walk) Le Douar des Arganiers is a great base if you’re planning a few days of surfing or just want a few days of relaxation after an active trip.

Owned by Tania and Ali the house is a fusion of Swiss and Moroccan style, built with traditional methods and local stone.

There are 4 suites in total, each is spacious and modern, with a double bed (or two singles), a sitting room area with fireplace, a shower room and a private terrace.

Families can have extra beds added or, if the children are older, can take two suites.

There are large gardens and two sun terraces, as well as a large, open plan communal sitting and dining room.

Solar power is used to provide electricity and hot water and an ecological wastewater purification system produces clean water which is used to water the gardens.

  • We had an amazing time thank you very much! The riads and hotels were outstanding and everything went as clockwork. We had really bad rainfall on the day we transferred to Marrakech but our driver didnt give up and we eventually found a passable road ( which I think was the last possible one to get us there!)

    Thank you so much!

  • We would very much like to give our feedback regarding our trip to Morocco because it was absolutely fantastic. From start to finish there was nothing to fault, Mustafa our guide in the mountains was great - discrete when necessary but delightfully eloquent and informed about a wide variety of subjects. The food in the mountains was superb ( though the toilet facilities in the gites d'etape left a lot to be desired!!) The guest house Dar Adrar was beautiful with amazing views. The riad in Marrakesh was lovely and such a welcome respite after the hectic souks.....and as for the surfing.....it was fab!!!! Mohammed our instructor was patient and so super cool....a real gem and great with our children.
All in all it was wonderful and we were all sad to leave. We will definitely consider using Tourdust again and wont hesitate to recommend you to our friends.
