The Simien Mountains offer some of the most stunning trekking in the whole of Africa. The National Park boasts truly incredible mountain scenery and is teeming with endemic wildlife. Sightings of Gelada Baboons are virtually guaranteed and seeing the Wallia Ibex or elusive Ethiopian Wolf framed against the dramatic scenery is something else. We are the leading provider of high quality treks in the Simien Mountains and pride ourselves on the quality of our guiding team and cooks.
Our most popular trek is the classic five day trek from Sankaber to Geech to Chennek Camps. A lovely addition is to extend with three days heading down into the lowlands. Those confident of their fitness and we have a hankering for high peaks might consider including Ras Dashen on their trek, but please note, this involves two additional long and arduous days with inferior scenery and wildlife to that found on the other routes. We recently hosted Wall Street Journal journalist Jemima Sissons on a four day Simien Mountain Trek, read her take here.
Our itineraries are carefully designed by our experienced travel designers based on years of experience and customer feedback. For a custom itinerary tailored to you, please enquire giving as much detail as possible on your brief.

My husband and I took their standard "highlights of northern Ethiopia" tour. From the moment of our first contact with tourdust, they were extremely helpful and professional. Lisa was very responsive to any queries we had. We felt confident going to this new country with them arranging it. We were met at each point by great guides, Alex in particular was fantastic, overseeing the whole tour from Addis. Accomodation was very good - some lovely hotels in beautiful places. If I were to do anything different, it would be to add on an extra night in Gondar. The drive from the Simien mountains was long and we were too tired to go out again to see Gondar. We are both in our 50s so younger people may not have the same issue but just something to consider if you don't want to cram everything in to a tight timeframe .
Thoroughly recommend this company.
