Jeffreys Bay is home to a Blue Flag beach and is one of the top surf spots in the world. Located between the Garden Route and the Eastern Cape Reserve, it is a good option for a beach stop when travelling the Garden Route one way between Cape Town and the Eastern Cape.
The town enjoys a favourable year-round climate. August tends to be the wettest month of the year, while December is the driest. The hottest time of the year is from December to March, while the coolest is from July to August.
Accommodation options include beachfront properties with direct access to the beach, charming guesthouses in the town centre and self-catering apartments and there is a good range of restaurants in town. Whilst the town attracts some of the world's best surfers, there are also plenty of opportunities for beginners to take a lesson or two.
