Arguably the most iconic trek in the world, The Inca Trail offers fantastic trekking with superb views and a fascinating cultural backdrop. Arriving at the sungate in time to watch the sun rising over Machu Picchu is one of those once in a life time experiences.
Our Inca Trail Treks
Our Inca Trail treks are available on a small group basis with departures every Sundays, Wednesday and Friday between March 1st and Jan 31st subject to permit availability. Our treks include porters (upto 7kg), North Face tents and Therm-a-Rest sleeping pads.
Alternatives to the Inca Trail
If permits aren't available, don't worry, we rate the Salkantay trek as a superb alternative to the Inca Trail particularly for those looking for more of a challenge. The alternative Lares Valley Trek is more of a moderate trek passing through many small Andean villages offering a fascinating cultural insight. Both treks finish with a day exploring Macchu Picchu, and neither are subject to permits so there are no concerns about availability.
We organise tailor-made itineraries including flights, carefully chosen accommodation and guided tours. Most choose to focus their holiday on Cusco and the Inca Trail, but if time allows, we strongly encourage you to extend your holiday to include a stay at a remote jungle lodge
Our itineraries are displayed with ground prices as flight prices vary dramatically. Expect to add £500 - £1000 per person for International Flights from the UK with BA / Iberia, KLM and LAN plus £200 - £350 per person for domestic flights with AVIANCA or LAN. Please get in touch for a flight quote.
