The trek was fab, really enjoyed it! Was definitely a challenge but one worth doing. Our Guide Mohammed was excellent, took care of our needs, patient and went at a suitable pace for us. Ali, the muleteer and cook made us the most remarkable dishes and such large quantities, we felt bad for leaving so much food.....was enough for six people or more.
The refuges provided us a great place to stay....the first one was very quiet only another couple staying there, whilst the next was much busier and was a fab way to meet new people.
We were really pleased we made it to the summit, it felt like a great achievement.
I don’t think I would change any part of it.
Thank you, to you and your partners in Morrcco, will recommend you to anyone who wishes to follow in my footsteps.

Service rating : A first class tour, really well organised, with copious information prior to going.
All of the information provided proved to be accurate and very useful.
Our trek was incredible, and being at the beginning of the season end May, 2 passes had only just been opened, we met only 3 other walkers on the 6 day trek.
Our guide and muleteers looked after us, kept us safe, fed us 3 times a day [ even though it was Ramadan], without making us feel uncomfortable.
We fell in love with Morocco, the people, the food, the fascinating Berber culture and resolved to go back again.
The trip also included 3 days in Marrakech after the trek, which was a great thing to do. The riad [guest house] we had been booked into was beautiful, quiet and staffed by lovely people, who made us feel very special.
Tourdust have managed to make excellent contacts in Morocco, with small low key companies, who are all very professional, personable and gave us a feeling that nothing was too much.
If this trip is anything to go by, I would go to them for other adventure holidays in other parts of the world.
Product : Great value for money, we would use Tourdust again

Service rating : I would definitely use Tourdust again. After a little difficulty in actually speaking to someone when I initially made contact by telephone (no one available when I called and no one called back as promised), I found Jayne and Ben very helpful and responsive.
We booked a trek in the Atlas mountains followed by three nights in Marrakech and had a great time. The transfers worked really well and we were very well looked after at Riad Tzara in Marrakech. It was a little disappointing to be told on the first morning of the trek that the planned route had changed. We totally understand that itineraries are weather-dependent but this could have perhaps been discussed earlier. The suggested revised route looked less remote and therefore we were keen to stick to the original if possible. This was agreed in the end and we took less luggage/had packed lunches which was absolutely fine. Ibrahim, our guide, was great and we were well fed. The accommodation was basic but we were prepared for that. I'd definitely advise future clients to take four season sleeping bags in the winter (we travelled in early February). The hiking was reasonably tough (perhaps partly because of the snow which was quite deep in places) but the scenery was spectacular.
Product : Excellent combination of trek and city break.

Morocco is quite simply, an incredible trekking destination. The Atlas Mountains host several 4,000m+ peaks and the mountain landscape is dramatic and beautiful, dotted with ancient small Berber villages and rushing melt water streams.
The geography of Morocco is dominated by the High Atlas Mountains which form a rift through Central Morocco. The Atlas Mountains present a enticing combination of verdant valleys, arid peaks, fascinating Berber villages and virtually deserted trails. The main attractions for trekking Morocco are Toubkal, from Marrakesh, the valleys and villages of the Azzaden and Dk'nt valleys and the delightful off-the-beaten track M'goun Massif.
One of the premier highlights of a walking holiday in Morocco is climbing Jbel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa at 4,167m. Covered in snow in the winter months, the altitude of Toubkal is a welcome respite from the high summer temperatures in the Atlas valleys. The trek up Toubkal is fairly strenuous but is accessible for most fit hill walkers. The hard work is worth it as the view from the top of Toubkal is out of this world encompassing the Marrakesh plain, the northern parts of the High Atlas and Sahara. Toubkal is only a couple of hours drive from Marrakesh. By contrast, the M'goun Massif offers superb off the beaten path trekking in Morocco. Featuring spectacular lush valleys and rich in ancient Berber villages such as Megdaz, perhaps one of the finest Berber villages in the High Atlas Mountains.
Other highlights of trekking in Morocco include the Rif Mountains, barely explored by travellers and offering gentler hiking and magnificent cedar forests. Trekking in Morocco isn't just about the walking either, the area is rich in cultural history, the Berbers are a proud people who have fiercely guarded their independence and culture over the years, and are famous for their hospitality. Food consists primarily of cous cous, tagines and brochettes (kebabs) blending elements of Berber cuisine Arab spices and Spanish ingredients.
All of our trekking tours in Morocco include the services of a guide, chef and mules to carry your packs and we use local Moroccan Mountain guides to offer you a more authentic experience.
