Wildlife holidays are as much about waiting for an elusive glimpse of a rare creature as they are about enjoying nature and wildlife. Rather pleasingly, wildlife seem to excel in frequenting particularly fine places to travel to! Any wildlife holiday is going to be extremely sensitive to the quality and character of your guide, both in picking out the best spots and judging the pace to suit you. All of the wildlife holidays featured are provided by passionate wildlife guides who have incredible expertise on their place and activity.

A superb wildlife cruise. This is really less about the cruise and more about the beautiful islands, the walking and great company. The food on-board is superb and comes in seriously hearty proportions. There is loads of time to explore the Islands independently, but skipper Mark was always on hand to point out a great hiking route or interesting diversion. I failed to spot much marine life but saw some fantastic bird-life, including the incredible sea eagle. Read our review in full here

reviewing Hebridean Wildlife Cruise
A wonderful four days that far exceeded my expecations. Kevin is a great tour guide, good company, a great cook and everything was superbly organised. It was fantastic being able to tailor-make the trip in advance and I heartily recommend Afruka Eco Tours

reviewing Explore the Cederberg Wilderness Area
It was an extraordinary experience in the beautiful and unique Cederberg area. We discovered not only the spectacular rock formations and Southern Africa San Rock painting art, but also a rich flora and wildlife. This is an amazing - and quite preserved - region, not so well known by foreign tourists, and at only 3h by car from Cape Town.
Last, by not least, our guide was just great !Hélène, Olivier and Georges from Paris, France.
