This was my second trip with Tourdust in Morocco. Mountains, beach, and Marrakesh. Wonderful not to have to think for a minute. From the moment you step off the plane a Tourdust driver is there to greet you and the entire trip runs seamlessly. while hiking I was made aware that Tourdust guides are certified in first aid and rescue, having undergone a year-long training course. Many of the other guides in the area do not have those qualifications. Drivers, guides, hotel staff, everyone was friendly. As a woman traveling with her 16-year-old daughter I felt completely safe and looked after the entire trip.
All the planning that I did with Tourdust made our trip exactly what we wanted. I believe that whatever you want to do they can make happen. Cooking lessons hiking, surfing, biking, etc.

Everything worked perfectly! We all found our trekking experience to be the best part of our adventures in Morocco. We were particularly pleased with our guide, Hussain; he did a brilliant job. He is thoughtful, knowledgable, and sweet. He represents you well.

Truly another world. The sky was enormous and the summits snow covered. Blue irises, wild herbs and fruit trees flowered on the slopes. Even as I toiled up the dry river bed I gazed in admiration.
Without exception, everyone was courteous and welcoming. Food was good ( and far too plentiful); accommodation clean. Above all-everything worked! A pick-up was promised for 9.00am. At 8.55 the doorbell rang. Impeccable.
No praise is too high for the organisation and staff. I am definitely going back.

Morocco is quite simply, an incredible trekking destination. The Atlas Mountains host several 4,000m+ peaks and the mountain landscape is dramatic and beautiful, dotted with ancient small Berber villages and rushing melt water streams.
The geography of Morocco is dominated by the High Atlas Mountains which form a rift through Central Morocco. The Atlas Mountains present a enticing combination of verdant valleys, arid peaks, fascinating Berber villages and virtually deserted trails. The main attractions for trekking Morocco are Toubkal, from Marrakesh, the valleys and villages of the Azzaden and Dk'nt valleys and the delightful off-the-beaten track M'goun Massif.
One of the premier highlights of a walking holiday in Morocco is climbing Jbel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa at 4,167m. Covered in snow in the winter months, the altitude of Toubkal is a welcome respite from the high summer temperatures in the Atlas valleys. The trek up Toubkal is fairly strenuous but is accessible for most fit hill walkers. The hard work is worth it as the view from the top of Toubkal is out of this world encompassing the Marrakesh plain, the northern parts of the High Atlas and Sahara. Toubkal is only a couple of hours drive from Marrakesh. By contrast, the M'goun Massif offers superb off the beaten path trekking in Morocco. Featuring spectacular lush valleys and rich in ancient Berber villages such as Megdaz, perhaps one of the finest Berber villages in the High Atlas Mountains.
Other highlights of trekking in Morocco include the Rif Mountains, barely explored by travellers and offering gentler hiking and magnificent cedar forests. Trekking in Morocco isn't just about the walking either, the area is rich in cultural history, the Berbers are a proud people who have fiercely guarded their independence and culture over the years, and are famous for their hospitality. Food consists primarily of cous cous, tagines and brochettes (kebabs) blending elements of Berber cuisine Arab spices and Spanish ingredients.
All of our trekking tours in Morocco include the services of a guide, chef and mules to carry your packs and we use local Moroccan Mountain guides to offer you a more authentic experience.
