Shamwari Private Game Reserve is a vast 25,000 hectares, non-malarial, Big Five reserve in the Eastern Cape. Some of the extraordinary work being done is showcased at the Dr Ian Player Rhino Awareness Centre, Born Free Foundation and Animal Rehabilitation Centre which are all available for you to visit during your stay.
Your stay is inclusive of scheduled, guided game drives in open 4wd vehicles. Your day starts with an early wake up, continental breakfast and morning game drive. Time during the day at leisure, lunch at the lodge, meet again mid-afternoon for high tea and game drive. Return to lodge for dinner and relaxing evening.
There are seven intimate lodges, all five star rated scattered around the reserve. All with its own style, appealing to all tastes, here is a brief summary:

We had a fantastic trip thanks to your organisation! No problems encountered at all! Simbavarti were a joy to stay and explore with; the hotel in Capetown perfectly positioned to allow us to walk to the conference, and Camps bay accommodation was just lovely. The flights, transfers and staff we met along the way we're all very friendly and helpful. Having a car at the end was a perfect finale. My 10 yr old daughter came home with new insights on the world.
I had been meaning on my return to email you, but launched straight back into a weekend oncall and business as usual, so thanks for emailing.
I have sung your praises to friends and family!

Service rating : Good engagement and all comments were incorporated in the itinerary proposal. Good availability and plenty of patience to accommodate changes. Clear itinerary and details about accommodations and activities. Could have been improved with SatNav details when places were in more remote places.
Product : Many of the places we stayed were really exclusive and I would not have been able to find them independently so it was a great service from Tour Dust.
